SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Serve as the ambassador and primary contact for assigned market segment (corporate), providing exemplary customer service to client base to maintain relationship and secure the sale at the Museum. Revenue goals are set yearly. This position is responsible for tracking the revenues generated from all events sold (up to 250 per year).
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop annual business plan each fiscal year in order to meet or exceed sales quota. •
- Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals on a daily and weekly basis. •
- Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, email, and networking (30-60 calls per week), (min. of 5 qualified leads per week). •
- Book and issue contracts for 140-350 Corporate Events annually and track revenue from these events. •
- Participate in weekly sales meeting to discuss weekly prospects in order to maximized revenues and communicate potential business leads Maintain relationships with 350-600 existing Corporate accounts.
- Collect over half million dollars annually.
- Handle incoming client calls 20-60 per day.
- Conduct weekly site tours 5-25 per week.
- Conduct weekly outside visits to clients in territory to build relationships, 5-10 per week.
- Work evenings and weekend events as necessary.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.
REPORTS TO:
Director, Event & Conference Services
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors of Science or Arts degree.
- Three (3) or more years of Sales experience.
- Outbound sales/ prospecting/ forecasting skills.
- Problem solving, customer service skills.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
STARTING SALARY:
Base salary plus incentive. New hires will be eligible to receive awards under the Account Manager Variable Pay Plan after a minimum of 90 consecutive days in the position. Awards will be made quarterly, as soon as practical after the close of the quarter, but no later than forty-five (45) days after the end of the quarter or year. The amount paid out each quarter will be the cumulative award earned to date less any payouts made in previous quarters
