Alera Group is looking for a Account Executive who brings experience and enthusiasm to our Property and Casualty team - joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

We are passionate about our clients' success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Account Executive's primary responsibility is to manage and grow their book of business while building and maintaining strong client relationships focusing on customer satisfaction and retention. They serve as the direct link between the Company and the client, managing day-to-day affairs. They are expected to independently handle a book of business typically around $3,000,000 with moderate day to day supervision and support. While the Account Executive's target account size is generally $50,000 and under in annual revenue, they may occasionally be expected to handle a small number of larger accounts with additional marketing and strategic support.
Service related to Commercial Property & Casualty book of business:
Renewal handling and marketing.
Ensures complete and accurate agency management system documentation and upkeep in adherence with Company policies and protocols.
Supports producer relationship management and count round-out efforts.
Actively seeks to expand insurance knowledge and maintains licenses.
Performs administrative tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS

Salary range is $65,000 to $85,000 per year, based on experience.

- Performs, coordinates and maintains a high level of client service satisfaction and retention.
- Serves as an insurance advocate and service "point person" for all client requests.
- Handles all aspects of account management including coordination with Claims and Loss Control resources.
- Builds, supports and actively cross-sells to help sustain book of business growth.
- Checks and reviews complex endorsement requests.
- Reviews and/or facilitates contracts for the appropriate insurance requirements and policy contents.
- Addresses issues/errors promptly and escalates to management.
- Prepares and leads strategy meetings and Client Renewal meetings and presentations.
- Prepares submissions accordingly.
- Performs quotation reviews.
- Negotiates with underwriters.
- Makes proposal preparations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Broker's license
- 10 years of prior experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or combination of education and experience.
