Beauty Barrage is the leader in turn-key sales management and field team resources for the beauty industry.
Beauty Barrage, an industry leader in outsourced sales force is seeking an ambitious and motivated team member to help expand our growing company located in Newport Beach, CA!
As an Account Manager you will be client-facing and the liaison between our brand partners and our corporate team departments (recruiting, scheduling, sales training, finance, etc.).
You will manage the on-going relationships with our brand partners & co-workers to improve client retention, program profitability and program success.
You will report into the VP of Client Relations & Field Sales. A passion for all categories within beauty – Color, skincare, hair, devices and appliances is a MUST!
This position is located at our company headquarters in Newport Beach, CA and is not a remote or work from home position. SEPHORA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Acts as the day-to-day client contact, focused on execution and project management
- Build and maintain relationships with assigned client partners
- Works with internal teams to ensure all brand commitments are properly articulated
- Increase sales in respective accounts by partnering with brand training and sales team
- Prepare sales information, reporting and brand ambassador feedback for clients
- Analyze performance outcomes and recommend solutions for continual improvement
- Monitor in-store visits for shift/event sales goal performance
- Act as key point person for weekly client calls
- Provide weekly recaps/updates to internal team
- Drive client satisfaction by proactively acting as advocate for their retail business
- Successfuldelivery of client’s program goals and objectives
- Regularly gather and manage brand ambassador feedback and information in response to brand partner requests
- Notify VP Client Relations and Field Sales of store feedback regarding brand and/or brand ambassador
- Communicate with Brand Trainers to ensure all brand ambassadors complete brand survey after each shift
- Partner with all departments to keep a high employee retention rate through regular communication, attainable goals, and sales incentives
- Communicate with brand partners to ensure all Beauty Barrage territories have healthy inventory
- Run weekly reports of scheduled versus actual hours worked to ensure billed hours will not be owed back to the brand during reconciliation
- Resolve sales force questions or issues in a timely and tactful manner
Requirements
- MUST have beauty experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required
- Previous experience with a beauty retailer preferred
- Account manager experience preferred
- Sales experience preferred
- Positive attitude, collaborative and an incredible work ethic
- Creativity and a preference for working in small, collaborative team
- Must be responsible and highly organized with the ability to manage various priorities
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be able to change directions quickly
- Ability to travel
- High degree of business acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Results driven
- Advanced Outlook proficiency
- Sales experience preferred
Salary range starts at $60k/year and eligible for bonus.
