As Account Manager, your goal is to meet or exceed sales goals in the specific sales territories as assigned, meet prospects and customers, sell the company's fiber and copper custom assembly and connectivity products or services to customers within the territory and to monitor the company's industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand the customers’ specific needs. This position works hand-in-hand with outside sales to accomplish its primary objectives.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years’ experience in an Account Manager role. Knowledge of Salesforce or other customer management systems a plus, but not required. Candidates should have good technical aptitude with the ability and desire to learn new programs.
The successful candidate will have experience working cross-departmentally and will have exceptional communication skills. Must be customer focused and solution driven. You should have a professional demeanor, able to interact effectively with all levels, internally and externally.

As Account Manager, your goal is to meet or exceed sales goals in the specific sales territories as assigned, meet prospects and customers, sell the company's fiber and copper custom assembly and connectivity products or services to customers within the territory and to monitor the company's industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand the customers’ specific needs. This position works hand-in-hand with outside sales to accomplish its primary objectives.
Responsibilities will include:
- Establish and maintain positive and proactive relationships through outbound phone calls, email, and frequent contact with distribution sales representatives/management to maintain current service revenue streams and generate new revenue streams.
- Work with specific assigned outside sales and/or rep firms in territory and to maintain forecasted sales pipeline
- Develop and distribute quotes that meet the margin requirement of the business
- Maintain/ Develop new relationships through outbound phone calls and sales visits
- Utilize Salesforce.com as dictated by company process and for tracking all sales related activity
- Develop new relationships within assigned accounts
- Maintain product knowledge of company offerings, regularly educate customers of these offerings
- Answer customer questions regarding products and orders
- Provide accurate information to sales team for order processing
- Handle incoming phone calls and e-mails from customers and provide requested information in a timely and efficient manner
- Investigate and report customer complaints or concerns using company procedure; resolve issues within company guidelines
- Help to create a team-based environment

Required Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Work, Excel)
- Strong organizational, project management, problem solving and prioritization skills.
- Must be a self-starter, resourceful, creative, analytical, and detail-oriented
- Proactive problem solver able to anticipate customer needs and act accordingly
