Account Manager - Primary Location

The Insurance Agency Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, assisting with policy renewals, handling service inquiries, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of various insurance products and the ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently. The Account Manager serves as a key liaison between clients and insurance carriers, addressing client needs and ensuring seamless service delivery.

Salary Range: $45000.00 - $55000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
• Assist clients in understanding their insurance policies and coverage options, providing expert guidance and advice.
• Handle policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and new business opportunities efficiently.
• Manage service requests, including policy changes, certificates of insurance, and claim inquiries.
• Communicate and coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve policy and coverage-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain thorough documentation of client interactions.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional products to existing clients.
• Conduct periodic reviews of client accounts to ensure adequate coverage and address any concerns.
• Stay updated on industry trends, carrier changes, and product updates to provide clients with the best solutions.
• Support the sales team by preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations as needed.

• Proven experience as an Insurance Account Manager or similar role in an insurance agency.
• In-depth knowledge of various insurance products (e.g., health, life, property, and casualty).
• Active insurance licenses required by the state (e.g., Property & Casualty or Life & Health).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
• Proficiency in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
