As a First Waterworks Account Manager, you will be responsible for prospecting for new contractor customers while maintaining business relationships with existing customers.
Responsibilities:- Identify, develop and maintain relationships with an assigned and new customer base, including key accounts, insuring their satisfaction with our products and a Best-In-Class Customer Experience
- Prepare and submit oral and written material quotations
- Identify customer product needs and coordinate execution of orders with other departments
- Participate in trade associations, customer functions and local business community affairs related to First Waterworks business
- Monitor sales trends and product performance results
- Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned by the Regional Sales Manager /General Manager
- 2-5 years of related experience in trade field
- BS/BA in a related discipline is preferred
- Knowledge of waterworks products and customers
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record which meets underwriting standards
- Mathematical aptitude necessary for price quotations and margin production
- Travel required within local territory
- Computer knowledge and skills with the ability to learn First Supply LLC’s business system
- Effective social and negotiation skills
