Account/ Relationship Manager

Salary: up to $130,000 a year + bonus potential (depending on experience)
Location: Remote (EST time zone preferred, and all candidates must be US citizens and work within the US) 
Travel: ~ 25%

Planet Interactive is seeking an Account/ Relationship Manager to join one of our biotechnology clients. This is a full-time salaried role that does allow for someone to be 100% remote. This role requires roughly 25% of the time will be spent traveling to partners.

Account/ Relationship Manager Responsibilities: 

• Manage a portfolio of set clients to enable growth.
• Work with the portfolio to put in orders, negotiate prices, and manage new agreements/ contracts.
• Build long-lasting partnerships with the portfolio and serve as the primary point of contact.
• Bring strategic recommendations and ideas to the portfolio of clients to help bring about new opportunities.
• Develop reports, presentations, and updates for the portfolio to show account performance, share market trends, and forecasts.
• Be forward thinking when it comes to understanding buying behaviors and how that impacts the portfolio.
• Manage any pink or red flags when it comes to issues and quickly remedy.
• Work cross-functionally with the internal team like marketing, product, and logistics to ensure that the product/ inventory are correct for delivery.
• Analyze trends and insights to help improve overall performance and the relationship.
• Bring an analytical and problem solving approach to the role.
• Ensure deadlines and timelines are being met.

Account/ Relationship Manager Qualifications: 

• At least 5 years' experience in B2B account management.
• Experience working on a physical product brand side within a consumer product or pet brand.
• Bachelors degree.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
