Seeking a Sales Account & Technical Support Manager in the chemical industry. Please note the role is an individual contributor role and not a people manager.
Position is working in-office. NOT an outside sales position and NO cold calling is involved. This is more of a technical sales/account management position with responsibility of providing regular technical support to customers and developing new business. Support provided includes regulatory compliance (food & beverage chemical industry), quality, and EHS related items.
Experience is preferred working with a commodity chemical product, with combination of quality, lab, and customer facing experience.
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working with a small team in an office setting and excel in a routine environment, seeking opportunities for process/project improvement.
- Must have prior experience in either technical support or sales role within the chemical industry (plant, lab, or office setting).
- Must have a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
