Job Description/Duties:
- Review departmental timecards to ensure employee’s time is accurately recorded and completed for both the Euclid, OH and Barberton, OH sites.
- Sign-off on the departmental timecards by the deadline.
- Assist supervisors and employees with edits or questions regarding timecards.
- Work with employee and or supervisor to resolve errors (i.e. missed punches, meal break adjustments, correct job, etc.).
- Preparation of journal entries for month end closing.
- Preparation of various reports as needed.
- Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Preparation of contract closeout final cost presentations.
- Perform quarterly and annual updates for SAP labor.
- Provide labor timesheet detail for various audits.
- Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency through account reconciliations.
- Assist with other accounting functions as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 or more year's of related experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
- Must have the ability to report to the Barberton, OH site to work the 9/80 schedule.
- Ability to interpret and apply company guidelines, SOX, GAAP, and government regulations.
- Must be able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be highly initiative-taking and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
