We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant I to join our finance team. The Accountant I will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including analyzing financial data and providing recommendations for improvement
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries
- Prepare and review financial reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and procedures
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and organized
