Accountant II - Strategic Employment

Do you have a passion for understanding the financial health of an organization and a strong foundation in core accounting principles?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Accountant to join our client's growing team! This is a full-time, permanent position located in Downtown Los Angeles.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• 65-75% of your time focused on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions
• Maintaining detailed general ledger records
• Reconciling bank statements and other accounts

We are looking for someone with:

• Solid experience in AP/AR/Payroll, with a strong understanding of the underlying accounting principles - Do you seek to understand the "why" behind the numbers? You will be trained on the specifics of the organization and all of its financials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
• A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-we are a friendly team!
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range: $50-65k Depending on experience + Benefits
