Accountant - Permanent - Now CFO

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join their accounting team permanently in Vancouver, WA. We’re a growing company with several locations across a couple of states. As a key member of their team, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the accounting department’s efficiency.

If you have strong general ledger (GL), intercompany, and cost accounting experience, we want to hear from you! The company operates in a fast-paced industry, and our accounting team is critical to our success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger (GL), intercompany transactions, and cost accounting.
• Manage intercompany transactions across several branches.
• Assist with cost accounting, providing insights to help manage expenses.
• Help with trial balance reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy.
• Utilize Excel to analyze data and support various financial processes.
• Collaborate with the accounting team on financial reporting and operational improvements.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing general ledger (GL), intercompany transactions, and cost accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables), and experience with ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Vancouver, WA.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to support the team in a dynamic environment.
