Job duties of the Accountant Role:

• Maintain and update accounting records and files with project expenses, ledgers, and other financial documentation.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Support the budgeting process.
• Collaborate with project managers to track project costs and ensure alignment with budgets.
• Process invoices, payments, and ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency

Qualifications preferred for the Accountant Role:

• Construction experience is a plus!
• Great Communication skills
• Accounting degree is a plus but not required.
• 3+ years in an accounting position
