Accountant

Sanwa Food Group is seeking an Accountant to join the corporate accounting team in support of the retail and delivery operations in our offices in Tampa, FL

Responsibilities

• Maintains general ledgers and entries for multiple companies within Sanwa Food Group.
• Reconciles accounts and transactions on a daily, monthly and annual basis; along with providing support schedules.
• Processes daily cash transactions and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare information for audits and tax preparation.
• Ensures daily reporting coordination between various departments.
• Processes fixed assets and depreciation transactions
• Works with financial vendors to resolve discrepancies or delays.
• Processes and reconciles inter-company transactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2 Years’ experience in corporate accounting for a distribution operation
• Hands on work with integrated an ERP system.
• Use of Excel, Outlook and other Office product
• This is an on-site position
