POSITION SUMMARY
The Accountant is responsible for assisting in the month-end close associated with an assigned workstream. The assigned workstream can be one of the following, subject to change based on need: Provider Group, capital, cash, contract services, SWBCL, non-income tax, rent/leases/R&M, all other and corporate/shared services.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in month-end close process for assigned workstream.
- Prepare various journal entries to be reviewed by senior accountant or above.
- Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts and perform analytical reviews of monthly activity.
- Assist in the preparation of schedules for annual audit performed by external auditors.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferred in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum three years of accounting experience required
- Hands-on experience with ERP
- Experience in Microsoft tools required: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Healthcare and corporate office experience, preferred.
- Lawson and ImageNow system experience, preferred.
