A growing law firm in the Baltimore Metro Area seeks a qualified accounting assistant
Responsibilities
- Assisting and/or providing backup assistance for certain treasury functions, including daily cash report preparation and reconciliation, bank deposits and credit card payment processing;
- Processing of client/matter intake forms;
- Generating client invoices for a large attorney practice and providing related support;
- Providing and assisting with required documentation for litigation client expense billings;
- Participating in accounting system upgrade and implementation;
- Providing general accounting support including coordination of attorney dues, firm credit card program and certain A/P vendor administration.
Requirements
- Requires general understanding of accounting practices and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Experience using MS-Office/Excel and accounting software.
- Minimum of two years of accounting experience is required.
- Legal industry experience is a plus.
