About the Accounting Assistant Position:
Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to make a significant impact in the manufacturing and construction industry? Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Accounting Assistant to join their dynamic team
In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and supporting our continued growth and success
This role is a 3-6 month contract with part-time hours
Essential Functions for the Accounting Assistant:The Accounting Assistant will assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Match incoming invoices to receipts.
Maintain and update financial records and databases.
Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare and distribute financial reports as needed.
Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Provide administrative support to the accounting team.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Requirements for the Accounting Assistant:Degree in Accounting or related field.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Experience using Accounting ERP software.
Experience and proficiency in MS Office Applications Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point).
Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
The Accounting Assistant should have the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
