Title: Accounting Assistant
Location: 77027
Duration: Contract to Hire
Schedule: M-F in office - 10am-3pm (part time)
Focus includes:
-Provide support to the Accounting Department
-Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry into QuickBooks, and compile/manage reports
-Handle communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person
-Process transactions, issue checks, and update budgets and ledgers
-Prepare financial and management reports (A/R Aging, cash-flow, loan modification tracking, loan payoff statements, borrower account statements)
-Assist with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
Targeting Candidates with:
-3+ years of experience in a similar role with strong analytical skills
-Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, Word
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Offering $25/hr
