About the Job
SUMMARY
As the Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis Lead, you will play a crucial role in collaborating closely with the Chief Finanical Officer to provide strategic and tactical leadership to the financial planning, reporting and analysis activities of Wallis Companies (with nearly $2 billion in annual revenues) and its six operating and five shared services divisions. This role will oversee the development of budgets, forecasts, financial statements, KPI’s, supporting analysis and dashboards. You will also advise on the Balanced Scorecard, long-term business plans and capital investments. You will timely monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, variances and initiating corrective actions, as necessary. You will also assist in the preparation of annual, quarterly and monthly financial reports for our shareowners, board of directors, division directors, auditors, tax advisors, banks and insurance brokers & carriers. Finally, this position will also be assigned special projects including capital investment evaluations and lookbacks, acquisition due diligence and integration, etc.
This role offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to balance remote work with on-site collaboration at our Cuba office.

Business Results Orientation
- *Build relationships and collaborate with business stakeholders to gather report requirements, provide status updates, and deliver tools to meet their needs
- *Translate business requirements into technical specifications for report development, critical metrics and KPI’s.
- Create best practice reports and dashboards based on data mining and analysis.
- *Analyze large datasets and financial information to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- *Ensure data and report accuracy and reliability by validating, reviewing and cleansing, as needed.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Communication
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to convey financial results and concepts to non-financial stakeholders and make recommendations for corrective actions and value creation opportunities.
Technical Expertise
- *Design, develop, and optimize queries for extracting data from databases and displaying visually.
- *Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards using existing or new software reporting tools.
- Support end-users by providing training and assistance on report usage.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- 1-2 direct reports in the near-term with high likelihood to expand with demonstrated leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education: *Masters’s degree in Accounting, or Finance. MBA preferred.
Experience: *Senior finance professional with 10-15 years’ experience in a variety of finance leadership positions.
Language Skills: *Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English in a manner that is
sufficient for effective communication with groups of managers, clients,
customers and the general public.

Skills and Abilities: Diversified duties involving an intensive knowledge of a specialty field and the use of a wide range of procedures. *Requires the use of judgment in the analysis of facts and circumstances surrounding individual problems and transactions and in the determination of actions to be taken within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
Technology, Tools,
And Equipment: *Computer, *Microsoft Office, * Advanced Excel User. Previous experience with PDI, Prophix, Tableau, Power BI and SQL is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses
and/or Registrations: CPA and/or CMA.
