What would you do as an Accounting Generalist
As an Accounting Generalist at Admix Inc, you will play a crucial role in supporting our small but mighty accounting department through a variety of financial and administrative tasks. Your responsibilities will include managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations. To succeed as an Accounting Generalist at Admix Inc, you will need a robust understanding of accounting principles and practices, complemented by 4-5 years of hands-on experience with accounting software such as Sage, SAP, or Oracle, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Your role will require accurate and efficient data entry skills, the ability to reconcile accounts, and a keen eye for resolving discrepancies. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial for interacting with vendors and internal teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities will empower you to prepare and analyze financial reports effectively.
Additionally, your high attention to detail, organizational skills, and capacity to manage time and prioritize tasks will be essential to meet deadlines. Experience in vendor relationship management and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements will further enhance operational efficiency within our dynamic, employee-owned (ESOP) organization. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- 4-5 years experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, SAP, Oracle) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
