Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting, you’ll be instrumental in driving financial strategy and operational excellence as we navigate the post-launch phase of our new ERP system (Oracle) and establish our own financial processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Corporate Accounting: Manage day-to-day operations, including overseeing critical journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting activities.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a talented Corporate Accounting team of three, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Policy Architect: Design and document best-in-class accounting policies and procedures that align with both legacy and new business units.
- Internal Controls Champion: Develop and implement strong internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaborator: Build strong working relationships across departments including Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, and Field Operations to ensure seamless financial operations.
- System Implementation: Play a key role in the successful implementation of our new HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce) and contribute to ERP optimization post go-live.
- Corporate Maturity Initiatives: Contribute to the company's broader corporate maturity initiatives, ensuring scalability and sustainability as we grow.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification highly preferred.
- At least 6 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a blend of public accounting and industry experience being ideal.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle experience is a major plus).
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and financial processes.
- Flexibility & Travel:
- The position is remote with 10-15% travel required to offices and sites within the U.S.
