About the Job
9868 - Responsibilities:
• Manage monthly financial management reports including consolidated income statements, balance sheets, statements of cash flows and other supplemental schedules.
• Prepare schedules for management, auditors, and others.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including journal entries, supporting schedules, transfers and disposals.
• Manage lease accounting, including related deferred rent computations.
• Reviews balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all reconciliations have supporting documentation to support balances.
• Responsible for monthly journal entries, ensuring entries have the appropriate documentation to support the entry.
• Ensure accurate coding of transactions in accordance with the chart of accounts / budget including preparation and detailed review of all journal activity. Recommend and record reclassification entries and adjustments, as necessary.
• Maintain an environment of strong internal controls.
• Ensure current documentation of control environment and related environments.
• Prepare and maintain accounting procedure documentation regarding both policies and processes
• Generate reports, respond to inquiries, conduct research, and identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve or streamline systems and processes.
• Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with acceptable accounting practices and procedures.
• Support ad hoc research and analysis as required.
• Coach and develop a team of accountants, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive, relevant experience
