Accounting Manager at KBW Financial

KBW Financial Staffing has partnered with a rapidly growing high tech manufacturing company in the Woburn area to help them add an Accounting Manager to the team.  This is a new hire due to growth and upcoming initiatives.  This position reports directly to the COO and partners with the President.  The qualified candidate will be very hands on, have experience with creating value added reporting, budgeting and take ownership of the close process and day to day accounting.

• Excellent organizational skills and hands on accounting with the ability to run AP/AR and payroll, but manage the close, create financial statements and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and provide value added reporting and variance analysis to help senior management and operations make informed decisions.
• Work closely with the CPA firm on audit and tax issues.
• Review cost and inventory accounting processes and make improvements as needed.
• Be a go to for any new tax and accounting issues and take advantage of tax incentives as needed.

Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance.  MBA or CPA preferred.
Excellent systems and Excel skills
Problem solving skills, the ability and desire to work independently

Pay is competitive with great benefits, bonus and PTO with a hybrid work schedule.  3 days in office required.
