Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting/Payroll Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our accounting and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. You will play a key role in supporting the financial health of our organization and helping us achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the company's accounting processes, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, financial statements, and budgeting
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for employees, including calculating wages, benefits, and deductions
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers for annual audits and filings
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity
- Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting and payroll regulations and best practices
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for decision-making
- Supervise and mentor accounting and payroll staff, providing guidance and training as needed
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and payroll management
- Proficiency or knowledge of QuickBooks, Quicken, and Microsoft software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as a team member
