Quality Financial Concepts of Maryville, TN is seeking to hire a full-time Tax Preparer / Staff Accountant to assist in preparation of client federal and state tax returns for businesses, trusts, estates, gift, and individuals. This position will also assist in maintaining both the general ledger and various sub-ledgers for the firm. We are offering a competitive salary of $39,000-$47,000 based on experience and credentials. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A TAX PREPARER / STAFF ACCOUNTANT

As a Tax Preparer / Staff Accountant, you will have discussions with clients and enter their data into professional tax software and research various tax issues. In the off season, you will assist the accounting department by reconciling bank accounts and various general ledger accounts monthly. Your attention to detail is your greatest asset as you complete your daily tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related degree
• Understanding general ledger accounting and journal entries
• Two or more years professional tax return preparation experience required
• Must be able to accurately prepare returns from beginning to completion
• Able to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends during tax season
• CPA and / or Enrolled Agent License (Preferred)
• Must have a clean background check and fingerprinting

WORK SCHEDULE
