About the Company and Accounts Payable Administrator Opportunity:
- Our repeat client is a nonprofit organization who has served the DC area for over 50 years. Their mission is to support and inspire Washington, DC’s low-income residents on their journey to self-sufficiency and success.
- Due to growth and an upcoming audit, they are hiring a part time Accounts Payable Administrator to work in their office in Washington, DC. This candidate will join a small AP team of two.
- Candidates are recommended to take the metro (green line, Shaw metro stop)
- This position is a contract role and is expected to last about 3 months
- Schedule: 9am-3pm Monday-Friday, about 25 hours per week. Candidates must be able to work at least 4 days per week. Days and hours can be flexible
- Reports directly to the AP Manager
- Start date: February 26, 2024

Duties of the Accounts Payable Administrator role:
- Enter invoices and process within the accounting system
- Assist with automating the AP process
- Ensure documentation corresponds correctly with checks
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Administrator:
- 1+ years' full cycle AP experience required
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics SL a plus
- Strong knowledge in Adobe preferred
- Basic Excel skills required
- Non profit experience a plus
- Able to work with under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work well with customers and strong attention to detail
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster required
