Job Summary/Company:
Spark Group, in collaboration with a nationally-recognized trusted federal government partner, is in search of a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst
The AP Analyst will be responsible for accurate and timely payment processing, as well as supporting various accounting functions, including invoice management, expense reporting, and month-end closing

Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing: Manage invoice payments, including electronic and physical checks.
Month-End Close: Support month-end closing processes and reconciliations.
Vendor Relations: Research and resolve vendor issues.
Expense Reporting: Assist with employee expense reports and reconciliations.
Ad-Hoc Projects: Contribute to various accounting and finance projects.
Data Analysis: Run and analyze daily reports.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
Experience: 2-3 years of accounts payable experience.
Skills: Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge: Working knowledge of FAR, preferred knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and CAS.
Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, preferred experience with ERP systems
