Job Description:
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in managing and processing our accounts payable functions
This position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of experience in an office environment to advance into a dedicated accounting role.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and process payments, including checks and electronic transfers.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts payable transactions.
Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities.
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
Support other finance team members with administrative tasks and reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an office environment, preferably with exposure to accounting or finance tasks.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
licensure and certification requirements;
office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure
The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
