The Accounting Supervisor will oversee our accounting departments daily operations. You will work closely with a team of accountants to manage financial functions, including accounts payables/receivables, bank reconciliations, state sales tax filings, tax audits and annual financial report audits. Our ideal candidate uses strong analytical skills to create detailed financial reports. To succeed in te role, you should also have a problem-solving attitude, be able to manage a team and communicate clearly and professionally with the supervisors. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our financial management is accurate and effective.
Responsibilities:- Oversee invoice processing activities to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner
- Analyze invoices for proper coding and classification as processed
- Oversee data entry activities performed by remote employees at the recon facilities
- Ensure vendor statements for large vendors are reconciled monthly
- Provide complete information to the accounting team to support the AP accrual process at the end of the month
- Ensure compliance with all expense authorization and expense controls of the company
- Streamline the invoice entry and payment process and implement best practices
- Monitor effectiveness and accuracy of the accounts payable team by providing establishing KPI’s
- Build an effective team environment by hiring the right resources and taking action on issues as they arise
- Train accounts payable team with the skills that they need to be a productive member of the team
- Build relationships between the accounts payable team and other teams within and outside of the accounting department
- Establish goals and objectives for the accounts payable team and monitor progress toward achieving them
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Accounting Officer

- 10+ years of accounts payable experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field preferred
