Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist - SanStone Health & Rehabilitation

Job Overview:
Tarboro Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable/Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the facility’s accounts payable processes and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment
• Manage the accounts payable system, including vendor maintenance and reconciliations
• Prepare, review, and process bi-weekly payroll for all employees
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws
• Coordinate with department managers to resolve payroll discrepancies
• Assist with budget tracking, financial reporting, and audits as required
• Handle payroll tax filings and generate payroll-related reports
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions
• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and payroll administration, preferably in healthcare
• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, etc.) and payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to handle sensitive financial data with discretion and confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
