Everstaff is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a reputable company in the Beachwood area!
Responsibilities:
- Receive invoices via AP email or US mail and transfer them into the AP Approval Workflow system.
- Code and enter vendor invoices into the database for timely processing and payment.
- Prepare and process checks for signature, along with wires and inter-fund transfers.
- Research and resolve various accounts payable inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation and completion of annual 1099 forms.
- Organize, file, and maintain all work-related materials and documents.
- Interact professionally with internal staff and the general public.
- Provide cash for event boxes as needed.
- Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable processing.
- Associate’s degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, with experience navigating the internet.
- High attention to detail with strong follow-up, self-motivation, and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain an established record-keeping system and office procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express ideas effectively and concisely.
- Capable of handling interactions with the public and staff in a professional and personable manner.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision.
- Maintains a high level of energy and a consistently positive attitude.
Salary: $40,000-$42,000/yr
