Job Details
Currently they are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who can work out of their office in Boise and this will be a direct hire full-time position with benefits.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage all incoming invoices to ensure timely payment.
- Verify accuracy of billing and resolve discrepancies with vendors as needed.
- Maintain organized records of all transactions and vendor information.
- Prepare and perform weekly check runs.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Communicate with project managers regarding invoice approvals and payments.
- Provide support during audits by gathering necessary documentation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
