They are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team and manage their accounts payable processes effectively.
Position Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing a high volume of invoices, with a target of 250 invoices daily, while ensuring accuracy through three-way matching
This role is critical to maintaining the integrity of our financial operations and supporting our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of invoices daily, targeting 250 invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure accuracy before processing payments.
Maintain organized records of all transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure the accuracy of invoice submissions.
Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including accruals and reconciliations.
Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate the timely resolution of issues related to invoices and payments.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the accounts payable function.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of three-way matching processes and related accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Strong Excel skills, including the ability to analyze data and create reports.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
