Accounts Payable Specialist-Hiring Immediately
We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a company who is a leader in the manufacturing industry. They need a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team. This role is contract to hire.
Position Overview:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial obligations. You will ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintain vendor relationships, and support the overall financial operations of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify incoming invoices and payment requests.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and prepare accounts payable reports.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline the accounts payable process.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Salary: $27-$35 hourly
This role is 100% onsite.
