Key Responsibilities for Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Process high volumes of invoices in an accurate and timely manner
• Verify and reconcile vendor statements and manage discrepancies
• Handle payment cycles, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers
• Perform bank reconciliations and journal entries as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for AP processes
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues or discrepancies
• Maintain organized records of financial transactions and support audits as required

Must-Have Qualifications for Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications for Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Experience with bank reconciliations and journal entries
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems
