Our client is a prominent fashion company looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$28/hr – $32/hr
Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be essential to the company’s financial operations
As a key member of the Accounting department, you will oversee the accounts payable processes
Your main responsibilities will include verifying, processing, and reconciling invoices
You will also work closely with vendors, internal teams, and management to resolve discrepancies, ensure timely payments, and foster positive relationships

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
Responsible for the full-cycle Accounts Payable process.
Code and post invoices onto the financial system.
Assist with processing payments to vendors.
Manage and reconcile petty cash on a weekly and monthly basis.
Investigate and resolve invoice queries with suppliers.
Manage biweekly payment runs and distribution of remittance advice.
Obtain month-end balance confirmations from intercompany suppliers.
Perform month-end general ledger reconciliations.
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
Knowledge of accounts payable concepts and procedures.
2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency with Excel and any ERP system (Concur, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate and communicate with individuals.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
