Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: San Diego, CA
Schedule: Full Time, Onsite
Pay: $25-$31.25/hour
Our client is seeking an AP Specialist to add to their team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable using accounting software and relevant systems.
- Handle accounts payable for multiple entities and vendors.
- Maintain and improve workflow processes.
- Participate in implementing LaserFiche for document management and workflow automation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing vendors.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of bills and invoices.
- Compare purchase orders, pricing, payment terms, and additional charges for accuracy.
- Perform accounting tasks such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling accounts. Occasionally assist with administrative duties.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable role.
- Experience with 3-way matching is essential.
- On-site work schedule.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP/Accounting software.
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Spanish language proficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Familiarity with Mexican statutory reporting, including maquiladora accounting.
