Accounts Payable/Staff Accountant - IT Concepts

IT Concepts is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Staff Accountant who is willing to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. In this role, you will work closely with other AP Staff Accountants as well as the Controller when preparing and entering AP invoices into Unanet. In addition, you will also assist the Controller with month-end close process and other adhocs. 

Responsibilities:

• Monitor Accounts Payable inbox and enter accounts payable invoices into Unanet
• Review subcontractor vendor invoices against timesheets for PO matching transactions
• Work closely with Program Control Analyst and the Controller to identify and solve funding issues for match labor invoices
• Reconcile credit card transactions, collect receipts, and enter transactions into Unanet
• Review vendor travel invoices to make sure travel transactions comply with GSA travel policy 
• Assist the Controller with month-end close process and daily AR cash payment application as needed

Location: Vienna, VA (hybrid)

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounting experience in Government Contracting
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
• Effectively communicate with team members and vendors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Preferred:

• Experience in reconciling credit cards
• Experience using Unanet accounting system
