Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and post incoming payments accurately and promptly.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and payment issues.
- Prepare and send customer statements and payment reminders.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to address any billing concerns.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
