The Actuarial Analyst 2, Pricing is responsible for setting pricing and forecasting assumptions, modifying existing models, and communicating results with key stakeholders. Provides guidance to Product Development on new product/benefit cost impacts. Develops and maintains pricing tools that price standard and custom benefits. The Actuarial Analyst 2, Pricing work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The Actuarial Analyst 2, Pricing establishes market level financial metrics to align with segment profitability goals, analyzes market level results and projections and develops recommended pricing actions to address gaps to targeted metrics. Leverages market level projections and experience data tools to research root cause and capture insights.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
+ Analyze A:E drivers of supplemental benefits and recommend changes to forecasted financials
+ Collaborate with key business partners to understand changes to benefits and member level considerations
+ Modify & update complex models to meet forecasting needs
+ Prepare analysis and provide insights during regular forecasting cycle
Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

+ Bachelor's Degree
+ Successful completion of at least 3 actuarial exams
+ Strong communication skills

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$78,800 - $108,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
