Adjunct Faculty - Law - Street Law Program - ( ADJ000284 ) Organization: H0098 Dean, Law Salary Commensurate with experience Description The Law Center offers graduate level courses in Law in multiple specialty areas and occasionally has openings for part-time Adjunct professors. Interested and qualified candidates are invited to apply to be considered for these temporary, part-time positions. This posting is for the Law Center’s Street Law program, a series of two simulation courses where law students instruct high school students about the law. See http://www.streetlaw.org/. The Law Center’s program consists of a fall and spring semester course, example instances are here: http://www.law.uh.edu/schedule/class_information.asp?CID=15643 (Street Law I, fall) This Adjunct Professor of Law opportunity is unique in that it requires the appointee to be available during the day on week days in order to facilitate and instruct as the Law Center students are interacting with the local high schools. Also, the ideal appointee will be available to teach the course in both the fall and spring semesters for continuity. Adjunct professor appointments are made by the Law Center’s Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor Greg R. Vetter, gvetter@uh.edu.
