Position Summary | The Division of Adolescent Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics is requiring for a full-time Admin Assistant 3. This position will perform and/or oversees a variety of associated administrative, fiscal, staff support, and planning activities, some of which require advanced or specialized knowledge and skills, such as budget administration and control, equipment, facilities, and inventory management, specialized recordkeeping and database management, and/or specified information-gathering projects and tasks. The incumbent will support faculty, several QI projects, contracts and grants. This role will require a high level of confidentiality, integrity, discretion, professionalism, respect and independent thinking to make decisions. This position will need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills, work effectively, efficiently and be able to multi-task. Excellent communication and collaboration skills and a team-oriented attitude are required to partner with Division Chiefs, Administration, and other department/UNM faculty and staff regarding administrative and fiscal policies and procedures. Coordinates and facilitates meetings, program functions, and/or special events, as appropriate. May coordinate specified administrative activities and reporting across multiple organizational units within a department. |

Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
