Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for advanced clerical and related administrative work, reporting to a Director/Assistant Vice President (AVP). This role involves performing a variety of advanced clerical, administrative, and special projects to support the Director/AVP. The ideal candidate will utilize a variety of office skills and considerable judgment to relieve the executive of administrative details, ensuring efficient and confidential operations. This is a full time in office position, M-F 8:30AM -5:00PM.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED, or equivalent training or experience required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clerical/administrative experience.
Skills:
- Advanced computer knowledge, including proficiency in MS Office Tools and Internet usage.
- Ability to operate office equipment (e.g., copiers, fax machines, printers).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- General knowledge of company policies, practices, and operations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
