When you join our team as an Administrative Assistant, you will:
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct callers to the appropriate people and resources.
- Greet Families
- Coordinate the resolution of licensing issues, as directed by the Center Director
- Perform miscellaneous office duties including, but not limited to preparing mailings.
- Process paperwork to state licensing agency and subsidy agencies.
- Prepare and track surveys and reports, using filing systems and computerized spreadsheets.
- Generate reports.
- Manage inventory (office supplies and equipment)
- Audit and maintain student files.
- Minimum of 1 year experience performing general clerical and office support duties
- High school education
- Proficiency with a desktop computer. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel strongly desired
- Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of internal and external contacts in a positive and professional manner.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and prioritize issues requiring response in order of importance and level of urgency
- Some light lifting
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with little or no on-site supervision.
- Previous experience in an office environment
- Telephone reception experience desired.
- Knowledge of state licensing requirements
