Contractor’s Role:
The role will support the other two team members in performing the daily tasks for our two file rooms.
Qualifications:
1) Strong attention to detail.
2) Excellent attendance and punctuality.
3) Ability to work in a team environment and move from task to task when instructed by a senior partner or manager.
Nice to Haves:
Prior experience working in a file room environment. Knowledge of Loan Documentation to help in pulling the proper documents when requested.
Tasks & responsibilities:
This Contractor role is in our File Room and is responsible for receiving physical loan documents and filing them in our two file rooms for safekeeping. Additionally, they receive Maintenance/Documentation requests submitted by front line partners for processing. They also complete lien releases when Residential Mortgages are paid in full.
Other duties include return mail processing, gathering and sending closed loan files to the warehouse and gathering files for various projects including internal and external audits of loan files.
