Administrative Assistant

A well-established janitorial business, serving our community for over 65 years is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their laid-back office. This dedicated team of 26 employees year-round, growing to 36 during their busy winter season, is looking for someone with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. This full-time role will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks.

• Wage: $20 to $22/hour, depending on experience  
• Schedule: Monday through Friday – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Answering all incoming phone calls and emails
• Maintaining professional communication with clients and vendors
• Filing, data entry, scanning and organizing documents, and general office organization
• Assisting with HR processes
• Handling accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP)
• Occasionally assisting with bids, proposal preparation, preparing reports and signature sheets

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years office administrative experience
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word (ability to format documents correctly, create reports, and manage data)
• Experience with QuickBooks desktop
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor
• Successful completion of an Excel and Word skills assessment
• Ability to pass a background screening
