Administrative Assistant - Sierra Ridge Memory Care

Now Hiring Administrative Assistant!

This position is responsible for assisting the Executive Director with all business-related activities at the community including assisting with payroll, coordinating new hire paperwork, administrative duties, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards and communicating with Milestone Support Center on all appropriate matters. This position is also responsible for managing the front desk.

Responsibilities:

• Keep staff records up to date including all associated personnel file information. The Administrative Assistant will also assist in orienting new residents.
• Coordinate new-hire paperwork and the new employee orientation process. Assist employees with understanding benefits and completing benefits paperwork to be sent to the home office for processing.
• Assist in data entry associated with HR/Payroll system.
• Perform various administrative tasks including, but not limited to: filing, data entry, document creation, maintaining an organized office area, serving as back-up receptionist and assisting employees, residents, families, and visitors.
• Seek out and perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred in Business or a field related to the position.
• Minimum three years' experience in an office environment is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, accounting, timekeeping and payroll systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong personnel skills, and positive community relations skills are essential.
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and make decisions
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must meet all health requirements, including Health screening and TB clearance
• Must pass state required fingerprinting and criminal background process.
• First Aide certification required
