About the Job
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant with experience or knowledge in the construction or similar industry. The ideal candidate will support the office with administrative tasks while coordinating with the construction team on projects. This role requires a strong understanding of office management, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with construction processes or terminology.
Pay Rate: $21.00-24.00
Location: Auburn, CA
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and submitting permits, licenses, and other regulatory documents related to construction projects.
- Organize and maintain project documentation such as contracts, bids, change orders, and project schedules.
- Coordinate appointments and meetings with contractors, vendors, and clients.
- Support project managers by updating project timelines and tracking progress.
- Maintain communication with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.
- Help monitor compliance with safety regulations and construction standards.
- Track and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports related to construction projects.
- Coordinate payments to vendors and contractors, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, ideally in the construction industry or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
