What are we looking for?
This Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting our Electrical business unit by performing a full range of administrative duties, including running reports using Microsoft office, reviewing local operating procedures, event planning and administrative planning.
What you'll do:
- Create various documents, spreadsheets, etc. utilizing Microsoft Office software.
- Perform various general office duties, including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, etc.
- Work at the front desk and greet visitors.
- Research a wide variety of information requests.
- Will assist with developing, updating, and/or reviewing local operating procedures, work instructions and helping with Purchasing, PO's and minor financial requests.
- Perform various general office duties, including faxing, copying, mailing, filing, etc.
- Set up conference room(s) for visitors and in-house meetings.
- Performing standard receptionist duties as required.
- Performing other work as required.
What it takes to be successful in this role:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills.
- Be able to type quickly with high degree of accuracy.

- Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines.
- Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats.
- Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties.
- Must be customer focused and quality driven.
Preferred Requirements and Qualifications:
- Associates in a business-related field
- Certificates or proven skills with Microsoft office
- 3+ years of experience in a similar industry

The base wage or salary range for this position is $23.69 - $29.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
