About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Administrative Assistant to join our accounting firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong process-driven approach with excellent communication skills, coupled with relevant administrative experience. This position involves the execution of various routine administrative tasks on a daily basis. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, document processing, scanning, and foster teamwork among colleagues.
- Manage client communications, prep essential tax documents, and facilitate tax return processing with a keen eye for detail.
- Maintain structured data entry, document organization, and organize financial records.
- Handle client and team inquiries with professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
- Coordinate catering arrangements, inventory management, and restocking tasks.
- Offer professional and welcoming front desk support as needed.
- Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with extended hours during Tax Season and Saturdays (January - April).
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prioritize customer-oriented service, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Strong emotional intelligence, problem-solving skills, and inherent self-motivation.
- Physical ability to stand and sit for long periods, and lift 30 lbs.
